ECLIPTUM MASTER GLOSSARY
Document Ref: ECL-GLO-2026-V1 Effective Date: June 30, 2026 Status: Living document — update upon any product, legal, or brand change
PURPOSE: This glossary is the single source of truth for all Ecliptum terminology. Every piece of copy — store listings, legal documents, YouTube, social, blog, Suno prompts, Reaper metadata — must use exact terms from this document. When in doubt: consult this glossary first.
SECTION 1 // PRODUCT TAXONOMY Official names, capitalization rules, and usage constraints
1.1. BRAND & LABORATORY NAME

1.2. PRODUCT UNIT NAMES

1.3. DELIVERY COMPONENT NAMES

REAPER / ID3v2 EXCEPTION When embedding as TXXX tag names in WAV ID3v2 metadata, spaces are not always handled consistently across DAW software and media players. Use underscored variants for machine-readable field keys only: TXXX:AUDIO_COMPONENT TXXX:VISUAL_COMPONENT TXXX:TECHNICAL_PASSPORT These are not abbreviations — they are the same names formatted for the ID3v2 tag key field. The values remain full human-readable text.
1.4. SUBSCRIPTION TIER NAMES (fix)

1.5. SUBSCRIPTION ACCESS MECHANISM NAMES

1.6. ARCHITECTURAL TERMINOLOGY

SECTION 2 // LEGAL-SAFE VOCABULARY The most critical section. Paddle compliance + future grant applications.
2.1. WHAT ECLIPTUM IS (mandatory positioning)
2.1. All one-time SKUs — individual assets and bundled packages as listed in the Pricing Policy — are non-refundable once the download link has been generated or the file package has been made available in the Client's account dashboard, except as set out in Section 6 (Exceptional Reversals).

2.2. Bundled SKUs are sold as a single, indivisible unit. Requests to unbundle, exchange individual components, or substitute components across different Sanctuary configurations will not be honored, consistent with Section 4.3 of the Terms of Service.

2.3. "Lifetime access" refers to the Client's personal copyright-based license to retain and use the downloaded file package, as defined in Section 4.1 of the Terms of Service. It does not guarantee indefinite server-side hosting. The future discontinuation of hosting for a historical file, with reasonable advance notice, is not grounds for a refund.
SECTION 3 // PRODUCT CONTENT AND CREATIVE DISCRETION
3.1. Ecliptum exercises full creative and technical discretion over the content, structure, and configuration of its products, as described in Section 8.4 of the Terms of Service. Requests for a refund based solely on subjective dissatisfaction with the creative content, aesthetic configuration, frequency selection, or stylistic execution of a product are not eligible for a refund. Clients are encouraged to use the available free preview resources — the Ecliptum YouTube channel and the Sanctuaries section at ecliptum.pro, which provide detailed descriptions and visual and audio previews of each environment — prior to purchase.

3.2. Requests for a refund based on the use of incompatible playback equipment or software configuration — including mono speakers, low-fidelity hardware, or active DSP, equalizer, or spatial-audio enhancement processing, as described in Section 8.3 of the Terms of Service — are not eligible for a refund, as incompatible playback setup falls outside Ecliptum's control once a working, uncorrupted file package has been delivered.

3.3. Alpha Sector content (available to Continuum Visionary subscribers) is provided on an "as-is" basis as defined in Section 4.4 of the Terms of Service. Modification, replacement, or removal of Alpha Sector content does not constitute grounds for a refund or subscription cancellation outside the standard cancellation procedure.
SECTION 4 // HEALTH AND SENSITIVITY — INFORMED ASSUMPTION OF RISK
4.1. As described in Sections 8.1 and 8.2 of the Terms of Service, Ecliptum products are non-medical, non-diagnostic audio and visual tools. The relevant health and sensitivity advisory is published on the Site and within the Terms of Service, and is available to all Clients prior to purchase.

4.2. Where a Client proceeds with purchase after having access to this advisory, a refund request based solely on a subjective physiological or psychological response following use — such as temporary discomfort, sensory fatigue, disorientation, or a change in sleep pattern — is not, on its own, grounds for a refund. This provision does not limit any non-waivable consumer right available to the Client under applicable mandatory law in their jurisdiction.
SECTION 5 // SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PREPAID BILLING-INTERVAL BUNDLES
5.1. Subscription plans and available billing intervals — monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual — are described in the Pricing Policy. All intervals renew automatically at the then-current rate for that interval until cancelled.

5.2. Cancellation. The Client may cancel at any time via the account dashboard or Paddle's billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not entitle the Client to a refund for the current paid or prepaid period; access continues until that period expires, consistent with Section 6.2 of the Terms of Service.

5.3. No Proration. No partial or prorated refund is issued for early cancellation, for unused days within a paid period, for unused weekly asset allotments, for unused Archive Recall Tokens, or for switching from a longer prepaid billing interval to a shorter one mid-cycle.

5.4. Access Upon Cancellation. Following cancellation or billing lapse: — Focus Resident and Sanctuary Resident (Rolling Window tiers): dashboard access to all assets delivered during the subscription period is deactivated at the end of the paid billing period. — Continuum Visionary: access to the Legacy Archive and any remaining unused Archive Recall Tokens for the current cycle are deactivated at the end of the paid billing period.

5.5. Plan-Specific Access Limits. The structural constraints of each subscription tier — including the Rolling Window access model and the Archive Recall Token limit on the Continuum Visionary tier — are conditions of the applicable plan and are not, on their own, grounds for a refund.
SECTION 6 // EXCEPTIONAL REVERSALS
6.1. A refund or transaction reversal will be considered, at Ecliptum's discretion, where a verified technical failure originating exclusively from Ecliptum's own hosting, dashboard, or file-delivery infrastructure prevents the Client from accessing a purchased asset for more than 48 continuous hours from the time of payment, and the issue is not resolved through file replacement or a fresh access link within that window.

6.2. This exception does not extend to delivery delays or interruptions caused by events outside Ecliptum's control, including third-party hosting or CDN outages, internet infrastructure failures, or other force majeure events as described in Section 8.6 of the Terms of Service.

6.3. Pricing Errors. As described in the Pricing Policy, Ecliptum and Paddle may cancel and refund any transaction executed against a manifest pricing or display error.
SECTION 7 // HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
7.1. To request a refund under Section 6, contact lab@ecliptum.pro with your order reference and a description of the issue. You may also raise payment-related disputes directly through Paddle's buyer support channel, as Paddle is the Merchant of Record for your transaction.

7.2. We request that Clients contact us before initiating a chargeback or bank dispute, so that any technical or billing issue can be resolved directly and promptly. Chargebacks initiated without a prior attempt at resolution through Section 7.1 may result in immediate suspension of account access during the review period, consistent with standard Paddle merchant-network procedures.
SECTION 8 // ELIGIBILITY
8.1. Refund eligibility under this Policy is subject to the account eligibility requirements in Section 3 of the Terms of Service, including the minimum age requirement of 18 years (or the age of majority in the Client's jurisdiction, if higher). Responsibility for meeting this eligibility requirement rests with the person initiating the transaction; a delivered digital purchase is not reversed solely on the basis of age.
SECTION 9 // MISCELLANEOUS
9.1. Severability. If any provision of this Policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

9.2. Entire Agreement. This Policy, together with the Ecliptum Terms of Service, Pricing Policy, and Privacy Policy, constitutes the complete agreement between the Client and Ecliptum with respect to refunds and cancellations, and supersedes any prior representations, including statements made through support communications.

9.3. No Waiver. Ecliptum's handling of any individual refund request outside the terms of this Policy does not set a precedent or constitute a waiver of these terms for any subsequent request.
